Petisco Vegano - Lower East Side

WOW! I just experienced a first.

I could not decide what to order because EVERYTHING looked appealing.

Petisco Vegano is a charming corner cafe that just turned full vegan and opened this week. Most of the food is Mediterranean and they have malawah, a Yemeni bread treat that is hard to find in NYC.

We biked down Park Avenue during the annual Summer Streets festival. Then we parked our bikes and ate at Petisco Vegano.

We ordered the enchilada casserole, mushroom bacon and the Shawarma Laffa wrap. It was one of the top meals of my life. The service is terrific. Please treat yourself with this divine new spot.
